So Brian totally hasn't told the guys about the baby yet. She knows she's putting off the inevitable, but every time she starts to tell them, something comes up, or someone lights up a cigarette, and she has to leave.
She just keeps staring at her paperwork, and staring at her calender and going to stealth doctor's appointments.
She's never been like this, someone to just drift along and hope things work out, but this has just has just wrecked her coping abilities.
But with the avoiding the smoking, she's pretty much avoiding her band 24/7, which eventually causes the confrontation. She's sitting in some band's back room trying to work out if she can even afford this damn mutant spawn, when the Ways burst in.
Well, sidle in. Mikey looks intensely blank, which means he's upset, and Gerard is chewing gum nervously. Gerard shuts the door behind him.
Gerard opens his mouth, and Brian is suddenly not in the mood to put up with whatever Gerard has decided has changed her behaviour. She raises a hand, and he closes his mouth, and looks at her. She smiles at them both, tiredly.
"I'm pregnant." She says. Gerard drops the gum. Mikey falls off the arm of the couch he's precariously perched himself on.
Brian bangs her head against the table and hopes that the less then likely alien insemination baby has genes for good balance.
