reasons I need to work on my bribery and/or persuasion skills

Or, Fic I Have Seen Mentioned Floating Around That Really Should Get Written.

This list includes:
[livejournal.com profile] afrai -- Sam Vimes/Lady Sybil, Discworld. [Incidentally, I am the only person who has "sybil vimes" listed as an interest. There are no "lady sybil" or "lady sybil vimes' either. That's just wrong.]
[livejournal.com profile] carmarthen -- Lion in Winter fic. I think Meredith mentioned Philip/Richard slash, but I could get into Eleanor/Henry, too. They're another one of those het ships that sets my heart aflutter.
[livejournal.com profile] isilya -- Jane/Lizzy, Pride and Prejudice. This one is actually a WIP, and being written. Yay, Isi!
[livejournal.com profile] linabean -- Max/Leo, the Producers. I know you're never actually going to write this, but dammit. I want some.
[livejournal.com profile] molly36 -- River/Simon smut, Firefly. I was promised this ages ago. Silly Molly.

And, you know, anybody who wanted to write Chloe/Martha, Beau/Innes (from Miss Pym Disposes) or Prydain fic could get into my good graces very, very easiy.

Jane/Lizzy?

Weird. In a good way. But weird.

Austen is chock full of the femslashy subtext. I think it's the focus on all those initimatee female relationships. Pride and Prejudice has some nice Lizzy/Charlotte possibilities as well.

And yay for interest adding! Perhaps we can start an exciting trend.

I should add Lady Siby1!

And, um, LiW anything all depends on me actually seeing it.

Well, yes, there is that. Or at the very least, reading the play. (Mmm. That's my favoritest play. The language...)

And yes! Add! Do it!

Reading? What's that? Oh, that thing which requires time...

Anyway, [livejournal.com profile] truestories is finishing Lawrence of Arabia, so I expect she'll make me watch LiW now.

Huzzah! (To both.)

Incidentally, I am the only person who has "sybil vimes" listed as an interest.

*gasp* How could I have left her out?

Oh, right. I told myself I wouldn't list any Discworld characters because soon I'd start adding things like "second Omnian to the left" or "that troll who works in Sonky's factory, hee hee."

I think somebody should write Vimes/Sybil, yesyes. Um. Somebody else. So's I can read it.

Jane/Lizzy, Pride and Prejudice.

Austencest! (Although that's Jane/Cassandra, really. Bennettcest? Er.)

*giggles*

I have managed to restrain myself to Sam Vimes -- because I can't not have Sam Vimes! -- and Lady Sybil.

Hmm. You know any good unsuspecting folks to assign it to?

Oh, man, that would be so wrong. Interesting, quite possibly, but so wrong.

*thinks*

I have a couple in mind, but they'll probably take some convincing. Darn.

Ooh, but it's so there! Jane, like, writes stories for Cassandra! Heck, she writes stories about Cassandra! And they're cute and confiding in each other and they're dead so no lawsuits, woo!

Lion in Winter fic

Actually, how about Becket (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0057877) fic? Peter O'Toole as Henry II (younger than in LiW), Richard Burton as Thomas a' Becket, very slashy film. I'd love to read this.

Oh, and another: Robin and Marian (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0075147) -- Robin (Sean Connery) and the Sheriff of Nottingham (Robert Shaw) have an incredibly intense and slashy relationship...

*adds both to long list of movies I should really see at some point*
