I just added a whole huge load of new interests to my user info page, but when I went to go and check my updated list of people I'm closest to in interests, I can't find it! You can imagine my disappointment.

I'm also rather confused as to why some of my orphan interests seem to have underlines and links anyway (such as "sekrit boyfriends" and "language families", but unlike "lindsey weir" and "pretty fat girl clothes"). Does it have something to do with community interests?

That doesn't do the interest-matching thing, though, does it? It matches you according to the profiles you fill out there.

And yeah, Erica, I don't know what's with the underlined orphan interests either. Tres bizarre.

I think that if a deleted user had an interest that now only you have, it still gets linkified in the user info page even though you're the only one that comes up when you click it.

Hm, that would make sense, yes.
