it was nice but now it's gone

Okay, so after getting the soundtrack stuck in both of our heads, the sister and I ended up having to watch the film of Jesus Christ Superstar. Again. For the thousandth time.

And, okay, the thing I always forget about this movie (and I have to say, it makes me feel really stupid and shallow to say this, actually, because dude, can't you see anything deeper or beyond that?) but -- man. So fucking slashy.

I mean, really, all the most emotional and effective moments are really those Judas/Jesus bits. The two of them (along with Mary) during "Everything's Alright"; before and during the betrayal in the garden; Judas as he cracks before his suicide.

*sigh* Stupid movie. *loves on it*

Well, it *is* slashy. And Judas is really kind of hot.

It makes me wish wish I could watch this movie with my friends without starting an endless argument about which cast is the best one...

I've only seen the film version. And dude, Judas! *So* hot.

Loves on it right along with you.

JCS rocks!

Oh, I've definitely always thought so, even years before I knew what "slashy" was!

Well, I mean. "I Don't Know How to Love him?"

Wow. It's like everyone I interact with, ever, is falling towards Jesus/Judas slash.

You guys should form, like, a cult. That worships them as, like, a religion.

*still hasn't seen JCS*

*acknowledges need for shunning*

Well, you're Jewish.

(That sounds like it should mean something, doesn't it? And yet.)

Look.

Now you've made me curious.
