I have been spending money the last week. Quite a bit, actually, which is kind of scary, but I'm excusing most of it -- because I have been working! Hard! And I've been saving most of the money! Um.

Last weekend: three new tops, brown cords, and the Franz Ferdinand cd. Today, one more top, two skirts, and this chair in black for the dorm.

And then I just let myself splurge with an amazon.com order: Love Stories by Jonathan Ned Katz; How to Eat by Nigella Lawson; and the Grand Tour by Patricia C Wrede and Caroline Stevermer. I was going to be all "How was I *not* informed of this!?" about the latter, but actually it's reporting as not out till the 1st. Despite this, amazon tells me I should receive all three books by the 26th. Hmm.

(Ooh, and the Susanna Clarke novel is out the beginning of September! Maybe I can splurge a *tiny* bit more on that and the next Invader Zim dvd when they're out...)
