...i like polls.

I told Lyra a couple of days ago that I really itched for another completely pointless poll. You can only battle that itch for so long, really. Especially when you don't have anything else to do.

ETA: That should be bottle of Coke in the next to last question -- I'm not sure what happened there.

[Poll #359610]

Your sentence, which is actually from the scene I ought to be working on right now and isn't meant to be funny in context, so you can giggle at it now:

Ben headed over to the Hawks' bench as the ref called out the penalty against number twenty-three: two minutes for slashing.

*giggles right on cue*

I had to vote for "her bottle of" because it was just so nice and surreal. :)

*snicker* Dude, that was what the little note was for!

Man, I swear, it looked fine when I previewed the poll. 'S weird.

Your sentence, which was too long to fit in the box:

"Well, my friend," Dan said, fishing his tie out of the blender, "that spells H-O-R for you, and a fine career in the kitchen NBA for me."

Dude! Rock on!

Man, I really need to drag down my SN dvds and rewatch some this weekend, I think.

The thing about Companions is, Kaylee *knows* what's wrong; offering money to a friend would be a slap in the face, the rudest thing ever. But it's hard to know what's right; touching Inara would seem like a breach of something, touching the goods without purchasing, breaking a dozen invisible rules. Hard not to think of it, though, when Inara bends close, runs her fingers along the nape of Kaylee's neck when she braids her hair, with her lips looking so soft the whole time.

Eeeeeeeeee! *loves*

Here's your sentence:

Because once you rode the little toy train into Mr. Fraser's Neighborhood, half-wolves talked, everybody smiled and nodded back at you when you walked down the street, and dead guys in funny hats gave you really embarassing advice about how to trip your partner into bed.

Wacky POV fun!

Dief dreams he's chasing car after car on a giant highway full of bears. When he wakes up there's an unfamiliar girl standing above them, shifting her weight like she's been there a long time, looking at Fraser. The girl's hair is red, gold where the sun hits it.

Oooh, yay! Dief! Thank you very much!

(I'm not supposed to know who the girl is, am I?)
