Nobody should be surprised that
fox1013 is the clear winner of this.
You can still go take this, but if you read the answers and then do it, you are lame.
1. Clark/Chloe. This one I kind of thought would be easier than it is, but apparently I don't mention the "EWWWW" factor as much now that I'm not actually in Smallville fandom. But, yeah. Fraser/Vecchio, Mal/Kaylee and Xander/Spike all exist in a place of vague indifference for me -- I've read stories I've liked a lot for all the pairings, but I don't have any desire to go and search them out.
2. Chan. due South deathfic, Firefly incest, Firefly non-con. I've written porn with 15 or 16 year olds, but not really any younger than that.
3. Xander/Willow. Dude, obviously I do not post enough about my Buffy love! I thought I was gushing about all of these a lot a few months ago when I was rewatching seasons one and two, but I guess not. Xander/Cordelia is possibly my favorite canon pairing ever on a Joss show; Jenny Calendar/Giles makes me melt and make sad noises; Buffy/Giles I am vaguely ashamed of but can't resist seeing all the time now. Xander/Willow I don't really care for, for reasons I go into here with Nestra.
4. m/m slash. Yeah, um. I think I mention this one a lot. None of the guy/guy relationships on Firefly engage me at all -- I find it as a show to be really focused on either male-female or female-female relationships, and it's those that are central and that I find interesting.
5. Alan Cumming. Callum Keith Rennie is actually the only one of the actors listed whom I haven't paid good money to see a horrid movie in the theaters. I saw King Arthur for Keira Knightley, I saw Sorority Boys for Michael Rosenbaum in my Smallville days, but -- oh, Alan Cumming. He is on a whole different level. I saw Flintstones: Viva Rock Vegas in the theaters. On video, I've seen parts of GoldenEye, Romy and Michele's High School Reunion, Spice World, Spy Kids, the Anniversary Party, and Josie and the Pussycats (which I turned out to love, but which looked like crap on toast from the trailers). At some point I will probably see the disgusting son of mask movie coming out, just for him.
6. Benton Fraser. I love all four of the characters mentioned a whole whole lot, but my love for Fraser surpasses all others.
7. adversary slash. *grin* I'm not sure if I'm really loud about my distaste for this, or just really loud about my liking for the others. But, yes. Character backstory gen = YAY. Brilliant incest, whether Simon/River, Margot/Richie, or Violet/Klaus = YAY. Best friends/buddy slash = YAY. Notice how the pairing that drew me into giving in and reading HP was Harry/Ron, and how I have yet to read anything SNape or Draco based.
8. Dan Rydell/Mal Reynolds. I don't think I talked about the Ephram/Wesley dream as much as the other two, so this was really hard. But, yes. My brain is a crossover freak.
9. written without knowing all or most of the source material. My first few months in Smallville fandom, I was seventeen, never been kissed, didn't know anybody and was too shy to troll around for a beta.
10. lotrips. I have indeed gone on giant binge reading periods -- swallowing huge amounts of stories for a few days at a time -- for The Sentinel, Harry Potter, and popslash. Lotrips I have read very little in at all, though.
