hmmph

People need to stop saying things to make me want to see Deadwood, because I do not have seventy bucks to spend on 12 episodes of a television show. Even when that is supposed to be really, really good. Even if it stars Molly Parker. (For that matter, I don't have $18 a month for Netflix, but whatever.)

greencine (http://www.greencine.com/) will rent you two DVDs at a time for $15. I don't know if $3/1 dvd will make that much difference to you, but it's, um, an extra $36/year in savings. So. you know.
