pearl_o: you know, seriously, looking at last night's episode, i think there's an illustration of why grey's works as snarky, soapy goodness heart, but also in a way that i don't trust most shows to do
pearl_o: which are that Bailey-Addison scene, and the Meredith-Addison scene.
pearl_o: It's a big snarky soap opera, yes, but it also, you know, cares about its characters. It cares about women as people, and their relationships with each other.
pearl_o: You know?
fox1013: yes.
fox1013: That is a REALLY GOOD WAY OF PUTTING IT.
pearl_o: I always think back to Shonda's entry about the super bowl episodes, actually.
pearl_o: And her talking about the shower scene at the end, with Izzie and Cristina cleaning off bomb bits from Meredith.
pearl_o: The bookends of George's sexy girl shower fantasy - which is still AWESOME -- and that ending caretaking part.
pearl_o: *ends blabbering*

I. I just, seriously, I love this show so much. Stoned Meredith! Cristina/Burke! Mark/Callie! Hot Addison! Izzie OMIGOD IZZIE! Siiiiiigh. I LOVE THIS SHOW.
