8. And in that stillness there was a freedom / I never felt before; Sarah McLachlan, Plenty
9. She's on fire now / You think you want to watch / I think you better not
10. Out by the boxcar waiting / Take me away to nowhere plains; Pixies, Here Comes Your Man
11. They're the ones you would think I would say if there was a me for you; They Might Be Giants, Ana Ng

17. I'm smug and lovestruck, sharp and shy, jealous, bored and overwhelmed
18. The arena is empty except for one man / Still driving and striving as fast as he can; Cake, Going the Distance
19. I spoke not a word though it meant my life / For I had been in the arms of my best friend's life; Burl Ives, Long Black Veil
20. And you can ask the counselor / You can ask the king / And they'll say the same thing

Hee, I think you're the one person who does much better when my iTunes concentrates on my obscurer indie stuff instead of comparitively mainstream.

[identity profile] pearl-o.livejournal.com 2006-09-15 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)

ext_1310: (eek)

[identity profile] musesfool.livejournal.com 2006-09-15 04:40 pm (UTC)(link)
I am kicking myself now! Champagne Supernova! Of course!

And obviously I meant 19, not 18, there. *g*

10 is driving me nuts. I can hear it and yet can't get the next line so I know what it is...

[identity profile] pearl-o.livejournal.com 2006-09-15 05:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Someone's already guessed, so: There is a wait so long (you'll never wait so long...)
ext_1310: (sigh)

[identity profile] pearl-o.livejournal.com 2006-09-15 04:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Aerye, I am going to admit something very embarrassing to you: I cannot listen to a single Sarah McLachlan song off of the Fumbling Towards Ecstasy without wanting to write Fraser fic. Dammit.

[identity profile] aerye.livejournal.com 2006-09-15 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Neither can I. Messy brokenhearted Fraser fic.

[identity profile] pearl-o.livejournal.com 2006-09-15 04:53 pm (UTC)(link)

Doh!

I confused the name of the album with the name of the track!

I blame last night's migraine.

[identity profile] stormheller.livejournal.com 2006-09-15 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
