I draw hearts around Ray Vecchio
Today's thinky thoughts are all about Ray Vecchio.
*pause for deep sigh*
Oh, Vecchio.
More specifically, today I'm thinking about young Vecchio, teenage Vecchio, and all the things I wonder about him. I wonder how old he was when his dad died. I wonder when he got too tall, too strong to get smacked around anymore. I wonder how he took care of his sisters, how he felt he had to protect them. I wonder what exactly it was like with him and Irene. I wonder how he made that final decision to go and become a cop. I wonder how it all balanced, the anger and fear and responsibility. I wonder all the ways he became Vecchio.
(This reminds me that I haven't done any sort of note for my ds secret santa person. Dear writer, I will love the story no matter what you do, I promise, just because I am self centered and like things with my name on. Besides which, I am fascinated by all the pairings I asked for and they're rare, so I'd love to see what you can do with any of them. I don't really want OTP/shippiness with any of them, but any exploration of the relationships, light or dark, family-friendly or explicit, is all good. *heart*)
