I now have this image of Karolina having really earnest conversations with bb!Gerard about queer (and alien!) rights (also, I know you said kids/teenagers AU, but aliens would so totally be welcome at MCR concerts; everyone can come there to belong, and maybe Nico could make her something to wear). Also of Molly and Bob hanging out together.

I want SO MUCH always-a-girl!Gerard/Lyn-Z. I had been thinking of one where Gerard's gender was the only fundamental difference (though obviously that would have an effect on the band's history), but this? With the art? (Art as a topic in fic . . . there needs to be more, it pushes my buttons so hard.)
