how many people changed their lj name to "lance hardwood: sex architect" today?

FIRST. Secret Admirer/Crazy Stalker Meme!

SECOND. The comments on my entry from last night mean that never again will I be able to look at that picture of Ryan Ross in the MCR t-shirt without laughing hysterically.

THIRD. [livejournal.com profile] kalpurna is hosting an OTP LOVE-IN. All pairing accepted! Share pictures and stories and whatever you want about how awesome your people are! ♥ ♥ ♥ (I might have posted this picture again. WHY SO PRECIOUS?)

FOURTH. Gabe Saporta was in the New York Times, which I mention only because repeated mentions of "Mr. Saporta" are send my mind to a strange High School Teacher place.

FIFTH. I added the feature on my profile that allows people-I've-friended to send text messages to me. I haven't figured out if it actually works or not yet, but you're free to try. I always enjoy random stupid thoughts about Pete Wentz.

SIXTH. Dear How I Met Your Mother, I love you, never change, much love, erica.

I changed my LJ name to TED MOSBY, sex architect.

Does that count?

I give you half-points for that, but extra points for using your Robin/Barney shippy icon of WHEEEEEEE.

The thing that I find most amusing about the NYT article is that according to the Real Estate section Cobra Starship is an "alternative rock" band. I wouldn't find that particularly funny except that yesterday I stumbled across the NYT review of the Honda Civic Tour which described them as an "emo dance act". Of course that concert review also described TAI as "glam-emo" and GCH as "emo hip-hop", at which point I decided that words had more or less lost all meaning and had to stop reading.

Also, my deep and mostly unironic love of Gabe Saporta has been just a little bit tainted by apartment envy. My last college dorm was three blocks from his place and I could barely afford to live in that deeply subsidized closet.

*snickers* Probably a wise decision!
