My parents have gotten hooked on Middleman, and when my parents get hooked on a television show before I do they get really proud of themselves and have to tell me all about it. So Dad was describing the show in the car yesterday, and said,"and the protagonist is an artist training to be a superhero" and I was like, "WAIT. WHAT. ARE YOU SERIOUS? THAT SOUNDS LIKE MY FANDOM." And then we went home and watched it on TiVo and I thought it was brilliant, but I couldn't stop thinking about Gerard. True story!
