Ooh, this is a weird one for me, because I'd say like 90% of the time I'm not that into it? Their relationship is one of the highlights of the show for me, but most of the time I'm really satisfied with it without the need to for sexy bits added in, just the platonic love and sense of family. But once in a while I just want ridiculous cliche fic about them as a pairing. GO UNDERCOVER AS A MARRIED COUPLE YESSSS

So I'm in this point as bandom where I'm not really invested in anything but Pete/Mikey and Waycest but I still remember how much I loved Ray/Gerard. SAPPY SCHMOOPY BOOOOOYFRIENDS. There's this feeling of comfort and caretaking and solidity and, IDK, it's their band. I was always surprised that it wasn't more popular, because I felt like there was a lot of canon support.

SO (while I don't actually want them to have bestiality sex) for a long time this was my AT LEAST PETE WILL ALWAYS HAVE HIS ONE SOULMATE WHO WILL NEVER LEAVE HIM~~~~ pairing. And then you told me about how Hemmy doesn't live with him and now it's just yet another tragedy of Pete and just makes me think of how much I want Pete to be okay and happy. This is actually surprisingly difficult because while I love Pete/Mikey so, so, so much, I am having trouble putting any reasons into words. I just want to yell FEELINGS at you. Part of it must be how much I love both dudes separately, since they are my bandom favorites, but beyond that there's something about the Summer of Like that just appeals to me deep down.

Mikey/Gerard was just, frankly, so much the most important relationship defining each other's lives, which is always a thing for me. Added to that codependence and being WEIRD about each other? Ship ship ship.

Thinking about that makes me sad, actually. :( Like, I can see Andy/April working in so many different threesomes, but this one is the big exception. Even after everything else that has happened, I don't think April would be able to deal with Ann and Andy together. And on the other end, I don't think it would be a healthy thing for Ann at all - she's moved on from Andy so much, it would be kind of moving backwards for her. Plus I can't see them having an actual relationship, not just sex, and it would always be April/Andy + Ann, and I think Ann wouldn't be happy/satisfied being a third wheel rather than someone with all the attention.

I am actually kind of neutral on Bob/Brian! I used to love all Brian fic, actually, but after he stopped being their manager I stopped being able to read any of it, which was really sad, but it just got weird and uncomfortable. Even before, though, Bob/Brian wasn't my favorite (that would be Brian/Gerard). I don't know, I can see the support for Bob/Brian really easily, but it just doesn't interest me.

I love Amy/Rory together SO MUCH, Jules. So much. Usually when I use the word OTP I just mean "pairing I really love" but this is one of the few cases where I actually do mean "people that I can only see with each other and never with anybody else." Amy/Rory/Doctor is also wonderful, because they all love each other so much and form such a good unit, and it could definitely work now that Rory's gotten over some of his insecurities about Doctor being the one Amy really wants.

I can't deal with Amy/Doctor (without Rory) or Rory/Doctor (without Amy). I had to unfollow somebody on tumblr once because even though I loved 90% of what they posted, they were a Amy/Doctor shipper and it kept making me upset /o\

No, that is helpful for me! Because I love April/Andy and I want Ann/April I'll-prove-to-you-that-I'm-awesome-at-things sex, which makes me think WHAT ABOUT APRIL/ANDY/ANN? and that always just made me feel kind of icky but I couldn't figure out WHY, and you answered that.
