friday afternoon notes
28/3/03 11:54I got my midterms today, but they're not particularly useful, since I only have grades for two of the five classes -- the module grades don't come out for a bit yet, and N.A. Languages and History of English both had pass/fail for the midterms. My history of photo grade is a B, which is decent, but not great. I am doing better in that class in general, however, so hopefully that'll improve. My French lit grade is a B-, which definitely needs to be fixed. I can do much better than that.
I finished my moderation statement last night, too, so I guess my meeting will probably be sometime next week. I'm sort of confused and nervous about that, but most people have assured me it's not a big deal at all. (Except
saturn939, who tried to make me more nervous.)
Ooh,
liviapenn, I lied to you; I am going to be in Boston this week. It's tomorrow, though, and I'm only going to be there for Beantown Zinetown, so it's not like it would make a difference. Still. I understand if I have lost your trust.
So I'm going to that with
minstrelia and
welvilly and various people from my school that I don't know. It'll probably consist of Cait and me following Rebecca around the whole time.
I didn't get to bed till 4.30 last night. Worse, I didn't get to sleep until 6.30-ish. GRRRR. I am tired like tired, tired thing.
Napping is not an option for the hour I have left before class. There's no place for me to do it in the library, nor do I trust myself to get up.
I could start babbling in French, but I sense that would be a bad idea. Especially since (as I am not taking a French course this semester) I am forgetting all my French, and thus would be speaking in sentences with basic construction and strange vocabulary.
Entertain me, friends list!
