Today was the monthly liviapenn visit. Yaaaay! I'm not sure if Livia is a bad hostess or if I'm a bad guest, but it was mainly showing me tapes and us taking turns playing on her computer.

We watched:

--the Tom Welling footage from The View (so cute! although he was vaguely greenish on Livia's tv)
--three hours worth of Due South. First, Mountie on the Bounty because I told Livia I wanted to see one with the fighting and punching (buddy breathing was a bonus); and then the one with Lilah Morgan because it was next on the tape.
--Hard Core Logo, which none of the video stores near my house carry. I think those video stores must just suck, though, because none of them had Heathers or Bringing Up Baby, either, when I wanted to see *them*.

Um... Callum Keith Rennie is really, really hot. Yes.

And then Livia watched bad sitcoms while I spread wild rumors about her on livejournal. Oh, and we had pizza! And she gave me a box of postcards, which was cool. I think that might have been before she found out about the wild rumor spreading.

The one really lousy thing about the trip was on the way into town, actually, because the MAX was all screwed up today -- some kind of power shortage or something? I was listening to dammitcarl's mix cds instead of paying attention -- but in any case, all the trains were backed up a long ways and they had to do all the signals by hand. So it took me two hours to get into town instead of one, and Livia had to wait for me at Starbucks for an hour.

The good thing about the delay was it gave me a chance to think about the Everwood story some more, and scribble down goofy little notes. So that worked out.

Anyway, it was a really nice day. Now I am just tired. And hungry. Hmm, food.
