catch-up, kind of?
7/11/03 16:44Oh my god, the internet situation has been KILLING me this week. First, the computer being broken and us having to use mine, which is apparently almost as broken and infested with 80 bazillion hundred million pop up ads. Then the relatives arrived, which, you know, already sharing the computer with three others, and now two more who are here all day and have, like, work-related reasons to use it! Argh.
In some ways it's just as well, of course, because if I had been online the lack of email might have gotten to me. Illuminatedtext.com should be back up, by the way -- huzzah for
hwmitzy and all her hard work! My site has moved to http://pearlo.illuminatedtext.com, so you should change any links you have -- but, uh, don't go to the site yet, because I haven't gotten a chance to go through and fix the links and images on every single individual page so the site actually works.
I liked Everwood muchly, liked Smallville even more, and watched Angel in the same mindless way I always do. I also bought Entertainment Weekly, which turned out to be a wonderful deal -- an article on Joan of Arcadia, a loving column on Everwood, and 3 -- three! -- Keira Knightley mentions (one for Love Actually, and two for Doctor Zhivago). It pays to have your crushes on the It Boy/Girl of the Moment.
The Oregonian almost spoiled me for Everwood this month, but as I have no idea what character they actually meant when they talked about "Sarah", I'm still in the dark for the most part.
Joan again tonight! And then weekend. Mmm, weekend.
