random and spastic
24/11/03 15:18Or, uh. Not really.
I seem to be doing a whole lot of adding to my friends list lately. Lots and lots of popslash, and I think a tiny bit of lotrips. La Bex says if I go on this way I am in danger of losing my 'elitist' reputation. But I fear not!
I went to Hollywood Video all excited about renting TTT:EE and was shocked and saddened to learn that they don't hold it. Or the FotR one, for that matter. Shocked! Saddened! Woe! (Don't feel woe!)
My sister is listening to the radio. I can literally not remember the last time I listened to commercial radio and I was not in a car of some sort. I have no idea who any of these people are! Crazy. I actually have a plot and structure to the DWNOGA now, along with the very beginning scenes written. I figured out that one of the things that was tripping me up so much was just the part where I don't even know if I'm going to ever write more, but either way, this isn't my comfort place and this is my first one, so it has to be PERFECT and SPECTACULAR and the QUINTESSENTIAL pearl-o popslash story. Which is all rather stupid, and much more pressure than, say, writing in Smallville, where I just want to write a good story. So, new goal: write a good story.
Also, on Friday I went to see Love Actually. I was so early I saw the credits for the showing before mine, which was slightly embarrassing. But, yes! I enjoyed. Pretty British people. I liked the shy naked people best, I think. And the shy girl with the brother made me sad.
Um. That is all. Except! Everwood tonight! Yay!
