Wow, I am really amazingly sleepy this morning. I was so sleepy I'm even going to class with -- gasp! -- hair that hasn't been washed since yesterday. I think I may have to put off my trip to town til tomorrow, and just devote today to naps and lots and lots of homework.

On the other hand (the happy-making one), I just spent a good amount of time sitting here yawning and looking at due South season one screencaps at pgsnapshots.com. Eeeeeeeeeee, puffin face!

...I'm easy, really.

ARGH

Our oven is TEH SUCK. *stabs it*

Obvious solution here is to stick to things that can be made on the stove, but jesus christ, we have so many dirty dishes right now I don't even have room to wash out a pot to cook with, pretty much. Bah.

Gah, time for shower and nap. Or nap and shower.

In the mean time: I am having a weird week, people. Comment and give me diversions and I will love you.

I have made up a list, even! Um, because I am the sort of person who makes up lists. Yes.

good topics:

mounties. slash. porn. recipes. books. mp3s. russia. russian. things that sound dirty but aren't. my hair. mocking of people. nice things about me. puffin face! the hotness of: a) ckr; b) season 1 fraser; c) alan cumming; d) the three main stars of king arthur. the obvious lesbian subtext of disney movies. wind-up sushi. non-american candy. canada. things that are sparkly. the land before time. jane austen. movies that i suck for never having seen. office supplies. sekrits. samuel vimes. kittens. which bus stop i switch from the 48 to the 41 at on the way home from safeway. things that smell like coconut. crazy space incest. stories people should write for you. linguistic dorkiness.

...But, you know. Those are just suggestions. You could always write me comment fic. Or ignore me completely!

I'm not sure what's up with me being completely insane this week. I am tempted to blame it on various suspects, but I haven't figured out yet how it can be all their faults at once.

Salmon fillet = mmmm, yummy.

Ground lamb burgers = okay, but rather bland; need rather more flavoring.

Amy's non-dairy frozen pot pie = decent filling but the WORST pie crust I have ever tasted in my LIFE. Self, have you not learned about buying things labelled vegan-friendly? They do not love you. They hate you and want you to suffer.

Angel's hair pasta = quick and easy, but rather less tasty than most other pasta. Although maybe I just needed, like, three times as much garlic in with it.

Spoonfuls of Nutella from the jar = wrong, yet so tasty.

mmmmmm.

Okay, so looking through due South screencaps at pgsnapshots.com again this evening, because [livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl and I are talking, and I am trying to find shots to demonstrate my lack of understanding of how Thatcher was really pretty hot in season 2 and so much less so in season 3.

The thing is, though, I am really easily distracted. But, honestly. Can you blame me?

[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: how can Fraser be this hot?

[livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl: guuuuuuh
[livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl: oh god.

[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: I like the framing of that shot, too, with vecchio in the mirror.

[livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl: uh. yes.
[livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl: and forearms.
[livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl: and rumpled.
[livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl: and yeah.

[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: *nod*
[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: I KNOW.
[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: I may have to post about this.
[livejournal.com profile] pearl_o: It's almost better than puffin face.

[livejournal.com profile] brooklinegirl: you need to. you really, really need to.
