Sometimes I think everybody in fandom should be required to be educated in basic logic. You don't need to know the difference between modus tollens and modus ponens to be able to argue effectively, obviously.

But Jesus Christ. If people could identify and avoid basic obvious fallacies? Man, wouldn't that rock?

Although I suppose general knowledge of the slippery slope, ad hominem, and straw man fallacies alone would automatically shut down 90% of fannish discourse, so perhaps it's just as well.

Also also: Wilson no longer reminds me of Simon Tam, but he's kind of funky looking.

I think I sort of need a House icon, but on the other hand, pretty much all of the eight million House icons out there so far look exactly the same to me, so maybe not. There's only so many times you can see Hugh Laurie's face before they begin to blur together.
