ROCK

So the fangirl gathering yesterday was basically the best thing ever. serialkarma and lyra_sena came and picked up Fox and me, and then we went back to SK's place and got lalejandra, who drove us into Philly for fries and pizza and cheesesteaks. Back at serialkarma's place, we watched "Odds", "Burning Down the House", Wilby Wonderful, Hard Core Logo, the really crappy Oh! show CKR was on, and some weird ESPN classic stuff in between.

Lyra is adorable (and her accent) and SK is cool and Lalejandra is absolutely fabulous (and gave a mug that says "sneaky like a ninja assassin, <3). And dude, I officially forgive Wilby Wonderful for not arriving before I left for Spring Break, because I cannot imagine watching it on my own would have been nearly as cool as watching it for the first time with a group of equally squeeful fangirls. Seriously, that room during that movie was AWESOME. We were all making the same high pitched squeeful noises in unison.

Me: There is no part of CKR's body that we cannot and have not fetishized. You could even do it to, like, his toes. (pause) Wait, Lyra, is your toe-sucking fic Fraser's toes or Ray's toes?

Lyra: Ray's toes.

Me: Okay, that was a bad example.

Lalejandra: There is no part of his body that doesn't deserve to be fetishized.

So I had a FABULOUSLY AWESOME time, and I'm only sad it had to end. Well, that, and that I probably won't see any of them again for ages and ages. But, yes. YAY FANS.

Remix Redux stories are up.

Shells: Nothing But Blue Skies Remix was written for me, and I don't think it could be possible for me to be more pleased than I am right now. It's so amazingly wonderful, I just-- Wow. So my anonymous author took my tiny ficlet, Shells, and took the idea I had there and just completely expanded and explored all through it, all in gorgeous gorgeous Fraser POV, with lovely prose and characterization and even perfect cameos.

I don't know what I have done to deserve such incredibly good luck to get three amazing remixes in a row, but whatever it is, I plan to keep doing it. SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE.
