this is thanksgiving at my house:

Yesterday I started to tell my family the "interrupting cow" knock-knock joke, but I wasn't paying enough attention and totally missed my cue to say the punchline, and then my brother and sister mocked me so long and so heartily that I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe and almost choked myself.

Also, we ate a lot of pie.

I forgot my ethernet cord at my apartment, so I can only plug my laptop into the connection here when my sister is not using her computer. This has ruined my plan of sitting on the couch downstairs all weekend poking people on google talk and writing porn, but I have lots of romance novels and Amelia Peabody books to curl up with instead, so that makes up for it. Plus, as I mentioned before -- lots of pie!

Also, I spent today going OUT OF THE HOUSE -- no, seriously -- with my family to such various exciting destinations such as the doctor's office, the largest Costco in the world, and Walk the Line. The latter is also knwon as the JOHNNY MOTHERFUCKING CASH MOVIE. Fuck, yeah. My squee, it cannot be contained!

(Um, not that it was a perfect movie -- far from it -- but it's quite good, and I HEART it so very very much. Did I mention Johnny Motherfucking Cash?

I really need to find screencaps of that movie so I can make a Johnny Cash/June Carter icon, too. There were some pretty shots.)
