I need an Ellen Fanshaw icon

Ellen Fanshaw is driving me INSANE, you guys!

(Which ... I guess is not exactly new for her, now that I think about it?)

But, arrrgh, last night, she was suddenly in my head. Which sounds good, except that now I am newly full of Stuff I Know About Ellen Fanshaw but with no story to go along with it! Seriously, what is more frustrating than that? There is no story, no structure, no explanation, just all these thoughts and sudden, sure facts about her that I keep turning over and over and polishing a little to see them a bit better, maybe. ( Like how )

You know what fic I would kill to read? Something in the style of a magazine article interview with Geoffrey and Ellen after 3.06. It would be rather brilliant and charming -- and also obnoxious, since it's Geoffrey with the media, of course -- and the same mixture of sad and happy and just bittersweet as the end of the series. Somebody should write that for me! *looks hopeful*

I sound slightly crazy here.

So you guys are being really boring, which leads to me rereading a bunch of my lj archives -- this time june 2006! then 2005! then 2004! Which brings me to this entry, which cracks me up, both because I am 90% sure it is the first time I ever brought up my sekrit Ray/Fraser/Ray love, and ALSO the first time I totally and completely squicked Brooklinegirl out. (The first of many times for both, I might add!)

(The relative popularity of that threesome in the last couple years actually does make me really happy, by the way. I mean, I have a very specific kink that that pairing fulfills for me, and it's not necessarily the same thing other people look for in it, so not all the fic works for me. And it's not something *new* -- people were writing it as soon as RayK showed up -- but just how la la la happy open WOOT BOYS it is now makes me happy. Yes.)

(Other times I have squicked Tracey out: every single time she has been online with me while I was reading badfic. Every scenario I have ever described to her in which I would be sort of okay with Ray/Ray maybe I guess, including death-of-Fraser or Fraser-POV-being-ALL-ALONE-AND-WOOBIE. I think maybe Frannie/RayK used to freak her out, too, but she got over that.

--Man, there are totally so many more times, and I can't remember any of them! It's hard, because usually they only last like a week and then she gives in. Except for Frannie/Fraser! That one still grosses her out.)

I also just found an entry where I was talking about how Fraser made me paraphrase the Odyssey in A is for Apple. Oh, man, I don't know what it is about the story of the bed made out of the living olive tree that makes Fraser bells ring out in my heart? I mean, besides my geekiness in general.

(Fraser and Ray would make a horrible, horrible Odysseus and Penelope, no matter how you cast them.)

(The other day I somehow started casting a Some Like It Hot AU in my head. LOOK IT STARTS IN CHICAGO ALL RIGHT. I was disturbed to figure out that the only way I could make it make sense was for it to turn out to be Fraser/Vecchio and Kowalski/Turnbull.)

(Fraser would be Marilyn Monroe, of course. And Turnbull would tell RayK that nobody's perfect.)

Wow, reading old entries makes me miss discourse. Dear my people I like to babble to about Ray and Fraser, if you are not around, I have to do this in my entries, dorks. Like this. (You notice the design flaw that requires people to talk back. Sigh.)
