Hmm. I can't tell yet what I think about the show, like, at *all*. It doesn't *quite* look good, but it seems like it *could* get good.

I'm definitely going to watch the next few weeks, though -- it seems like it could only improve with all that exposition out of the way now.

Joan was a nice realistic mix of really annoying and somewhat likable, and I tended to like the rest of her family. The policey father subplot seemed pointless and annoying, and I won't be looking forward to that if it's a part of it every week. It was quite odd, because the two pieces didn't really seem to fit together at all for me; it didn't work, somehow, which meant I ended the show with a note of "...Okay. Whatever." Which wasn't necessarily my feeling for most of the show.

So, yes. Potential, I think, and interesting enough to watch some more. (Plus, what else is on Friday nights?)

I was wanting to watch that. If I had a tv. But I went to a kegger (root beer) and played pictionary instead.

I really enjoyed a lot of the supporting characters. Like the bookstore owner and her little brother.

God was pretty frickin' cool too.

Socializing is more important and happymaking than tv, or so everyone tells me.

I liked most of the characters, I think (well, besides the stupid friends). And the premise looks like they could do some cool things with it, so. I have hopes.

but it wasn't really socialising, it was pictionary with smart kids. you can't socialise whey you are playing pictionary, because you are too busy with competition.

(i live in london now, by the way)

What's wrong with Canada? Is it not exotic enough?
