My grandfather wears his on the right because he says that the buckle of the band digs into his wrist when he writes if he wears it on the left.

Hee! I'm right-handed and wear my watch on my right wrist. I have no idea why, but I tried the whole left hand thing and just... it's awkward. I just cannot wear a watch on my left hand. ::g:: Bracelets and shit go on my left wrist because it's less annoying.

I found out this right-wrist-watch-wearing business was strange because someone asked. But that was one person and three years ago, so I guess it's not really all that strange!
