[livejournal.com profile] molly36 is sneaky. In the good way, where she buys me things for no reason! I have so much icon space now I am almost dizzy with the possibilities. I suppose this means I should stop dillydallying on the smut I am writing for her, too.

This is the coolest thing ever. While We Tell of Yuletide Treasure, the secret santa for obscure or old fandoms. Someone can write you one of those little pairings and fandoms you've been coveting for so long! I really hope lots of people sign up, actually, because it sounds very exciting. (Especially anybody who might want to write me Bring It On or Joan of Arcadia.)

I bought a new DVD player last night -- they were on sale at Fred Meyer's for $50, man -- which is very nifty for me. Because, hey, DVD player! It also makes my Christmas and birthday list make a lot more sense, since right now it mostly consists of TV show DVD collections. (Smallville, Firefly, Freaks and Geeks, Due South, Buffy, etc, etc.) Now I just need to convince someone to set it all up for me. And possibly get heat in my room.

Oooooh - Joan of Arcadia.

It was hard to choose just three or four options, wasn't it?

While an absence of dillydallying is fine indeed... not a bribe! *g*

Just, you know. Felt like alleviating the stress over Lindsay v. Joan. Why be forced to make silly choices? Why not have it ALL?

It was! There was a whole world of options.

Of course, the issue I'm having now is I keep going back to check on who's signed up and seeing all these fandoms on the list that I could have volunteered to write, and feeling silly.

That is a very good question? Why NOT have it all?

Although now that they've changed it to 50, I must say I am incredibly overwhelmed. I think I might pretend it's still at 20, because otherwise it's kinda scary.
