I. Even I Miss Her!

All I have to say at the moment on Everwood is that if I were the actress playing Nina, I would be really pissed that the getting into the credits was apparently in exchange for never appearing again ever.

Oh, and also, the more I watch Mr. Rogers with the children, the more Harold Abbott starts to look like him.

II. Which is the more disturbing...

...that there is a market for flag-printed band-aids, or that my family *is* that market?

Either way, my big toe is feeling very patriotic.

III. With my luck, the video store won't have it, either.

X2! Bwee!

IV. From the mouths of babes. Or monsters.

Today on Sesame Street, Cookie Monster said, "Or maybe friend someone you give up last cookie for." That's fucking deep, yo.

V. Now I just need to not eat the entire thing myself

I made cheescake last night! It was lazy easy cheesecake, the kind where you just mix the cream cheese and eggs and sugar and dump it in a pie crust, so it isn't, like, a wonderful taste sensation or anything. But it is still delicious! And the tastiness-to-effort ratio is very good indeed.

VI. Work! Work, monkey slave!

Yesterday's realization notwithstanding, the sesa story is messing with my mind, even as I get more and more writing done on it. I think my solution should be to go val's packages over and over till the boys come out my ears.

Now I return to the stuff I'm actually getting paid (peanuts) for.

Sometimes I think there's a point at which plastering flags all over everything is not so much patriotic as cheapening. I suspect bandaids and underwear both fall in that category.

But I have all the conventional patriotism of a rock, so.

Cheesecake is much of the good.

Heh. I think that's why I fell so hard for Patch -- he DOES remind me of Mr. Rogers, only he's like Mr. R with a bite: snarky, cranky, impatient, not all that nice when it comes to his kids.

I miss Nina, too. I feel for Delia, man.

It mainly just makes me crinkle my nose and think "tacky!", but that's me.

Wombat!

Aww. But if your friends also loves *you*, they will give you back half of the cookie! Or so the playful children shown on screen during the segment led me to believe.

Dude, I didn't even used to like Nina, but as soon as they made her cool this season she disappeared! I mean, it's not *her* fault they gave away the "Andy love interest" and "Delia caretaker" slots! Poor thing.

Cookie Monster is my hero.

*I'd* give you the last cookie.

Well. I'd at least give you half of it.

*snugs*

Well, yeah. Exactly. I mean, patriotism is one of those things that probably ought to be expressed tastefully. Or so I imagine.

WommmmmmmmmBAT!

He certainly has his moments, dude. Although he's kind of dumb about the letter of the day cookies.
