Tonight there was nothing new on my friends, so I wandered around my bookmarks, and I wound up rereading first flambeau's The latest party and then katallison's Heavy Bag, and now I'm just. Man. Breathless and in love and stunned silly, and *god*, I love fandom sometimes.

Oh my god, isn't Heavy Bag amazing? It's one of my top 5 all-time favorite dS stories. It's just so grounded in the social reality of dS, you know? And also so very, very hot. Kat does an amazing Ray Kowalski.

Ah. I love this story so much. Apparently so much that the merest mention causes me to ramble on and on. It's just one of those stories that makes me love fanfiction.
