So, um, is the [livejournal.com profile] ds_flashfiction challenge causing anyone else to think unfortunate thoughts about "pearl necklaces"?

...That's what I thought.

I should really ease up on the spamming, I think; I've been going crazy this weekend. Instead, though, I think I shall present to you the following:

Lines of Dialogues that are Quoted in My Household Much, Much Too Frequently

+ "You mocked me once, never do it again!"

+ "I hated her soooo much. It was -- Flames. Flames on the side of my face. Breaths. *Heaving* breaths--"

+ "You're no daisy! You're no daisy at all!"

+ "Three horns never play with longnecks!"

+ "I love the little tacos. I love them gooood."

+ "I'm so excited! I'm so -- scared!"

+ "I don't want your blood money!" and "I don't need your blood money!"

+ "Uh-uh. Not cool."

This last one is, of course, accompanied by the finger waggling gesture.

HAHAHA, it's heaving *breaths*?! I always thought it was BREASTS, which we ran around saying in college a LOT.

I think the problem, if we eventually became geeky Library School Roommates, would be that we would never have a creative thought ever again. We would exist entirely within the vortex of quotes.

Also, I would probably watch a lot of Due South. I'm guessing here.

*giggles and snugs you*

Oh my god.

So totally yes.

...That's a problem?

(I don't really believe that, actually. I think proximity would increase our obsessive making each other write fic. Especially lit fic, when we can throw books at each other.)

"I have some concerns" happens a lot. Also "Do you need me here for this or are you going to have a conversation with yourself"

And my favourite is: You know the length of this conversation is way out of proportion to my interest in it.

Flames. Flames on the side of my face. Breaths. *Heaving* breaths--"

*DIES* You know why? Cause the thing is, I make Nifra say this all the time, in Madeline Kahn's voice. I get the giggles when she does. It's to the point where all I have to do is tell her 'say it, say it for me', and she knows what I'm talking about.

oh lord. *giggling more*

"I love the little tacos. I love them gooood."

::dies laughing:: We say that all the time, along with, "Computer! Take me to the weasels!" and "shut your noise-hole, taco human."

You realize this simply makes me love both of you ALL THE MORE.

Also, I wanna hear Nif's Madeline Kahn impression!

I am very much a creature of my time, I'm pretty sure. Also, I watch many many things obsessively.

Hee. "I feel good about how today went" and the "YAY!"-"No, Gir, that's bad."-"YAY!" combination are really big around here, too.

The latter is one of my favorite quotes of the series, but it seems to be just a little too unwieldly to gain full momentum in quote-spewing around here.
