Okay, so I was just mentioning the other day how I have no use for this icon anymore, right, and just keep it out of nostalgia? But that is a lie, because I forgot all about these snippets by bravecows. Because not only are these Smallville bits I still read, they're Smallville bits that I still adore and love madly.

Afrai's summary for them on her page is this: Clark Kent is a journalist with the Times; Lex Luthor is a recovering vampire; Otto Chriek just wants a quiet life. Crossover with Discworld, surprisingly enough. Which is a pretty good description, but doesn't quite evoke the utter charm she has going here, nor the amazing way she makes it all meld. Seriously, I rec them very highly.
