Ahahaha, I am a dork. The past couple days I've been convinced that lj is being screwy again and only giving me half my comments or so. When, apparently, it just turns out I was a little too dim to figure out gmail's sorting system. (The comments have never come bunched in one email before! How was I supposed to know?)

I feel as though this should now end with some sort of message or moral, but I don't appear to have. So, instead, I will say: yay, comments!

Also:

Oh my god I need new reading material I need it SO BAD. Everything on my shelves has been read approximately EIGHTY MILLION times and everything on my parents' shelves is scary or boring or insipid and oh the pain IT BURNS. Boooooooooooks. I am like a vampire who hasn't fed! I am going through withdrawal from my drug of choice! I am like a starving puppy HELP ME. How can you resist the pain of the starving puppy?!?!

*twitches*

I wonder if I can convince anyone in the family to take me on a library run later. The odds don't look particularly good, but I must try.

Hiya! I didn't know if you were talking about on-line stories or novels or both. Tharamis has a wonderful new story up at Smallville Slash Archive.
Have you ever read the Nightrunner series by Lynn Flewelling? It is a fantasy series about a couple of thieves, Seregil and Alec, who are trying to stop an evil wizard from gaining absolute power. Yeah, I know, sounds cliched. But it is really good (plus slashy). I'm very not good at reviews. You can check it out at Amazon.com

My mother's saying Saturday eleven or twelve. Actually, if Puck is up and around, the parents probably want to wave and say to them, at least, or even possibly take us out to lunch.

Well, the problem is less that I don't have a long list of things I want to read than that they are not here at my grubby little fingertips. But, hmm, I'll look up that series, too.

(Online, I'm *always* impatient for more stuff to read, but my reading seems to have gotten more and more limited over the last couple months, til I'm really not reading hardly anything but due South anymore.)

Hmmmmmmm. I'm not really confident about my "mailing things off in anything approaching a timely manner" skills, is the thing, in between the getting-ready and moving-in and settling-in-and-getting-used-to-everything again the next couple weeks.

Books, sigh.

Well, but. I have been sent books! And it is like in The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay; the only way you can pay a book-debt is to pass books on to others. Or, um, something.
