schmericaNote to self: while How to Cook Everything is indeed very good on the vast majority of foods you have tried, do not EVER listen to it on cooking Italian sausages.
Note to roommates: Please do not hate me for making our apartment a smoke-filled crazy place! I'm sorry! Um, at least the smoke didn't set off the fire alarm?
Still, though, the sausage still tastes pretty good. Mmmmm, fried onions. If only I had some bread for sandwiches.
