I finished rewatching buffy season 2!

Becoming made me bawl like a baby. This is not a surprise in any way.

I started getting vaguely choked up in *anticipation* fairly early, but it was probably not until the "No friends, no weapons, no hope. Take all that away, and what's left?" that the actual tears starting up, and pretty much, you know, continued through the end of the episode.

Stupid Sarah McLachlan. Between due South and Buffy, her voice is now, like, an automatic "WAAAAAH" reaction from me. Beloved characters in beautiful horrible pain! Sniff.

there are few hours of television that, no matter how many times i see them, no matter how much i could quote the episode start to finish, still make me fucking weep. but this is absolutely one of them.

I find things with the potential to make me crier get me progressively weepier as time goes by, actually. I can't think of any books or shows or movies that made me cry on the first time around; it's somehting about revisiting and wallowing that does it to me.
