Yesterday I got a card from the darlings sprkid and anotheryourself. Later I went to the library. YAY BOOKS. YAY GLITTERY CARDS. YAY CHRISTMAS.

The last couple days I have been watching the Star Wars Trilogy. I think I've seen all of them before, but I don't remember when -- ten years ago maybe? I remember all the basic facts everyone knows, but not the actual viewing of them. I find my basic impression I am left with now upon viewing is "I don't get it." They seem kind of ... boring and shallow. But, you know, I am possibly not the target audience.

Also, I don't care how much brooklinegirl mocks me, but I don't find Han Solo attractive. I'm not sure Harrison Ford ever does it for me, really -- maybe one of the Indiana Jones. A lot of the time he reminds me a little of my dad, though, strangely. And of course the last decade he's old and scary.

LESS THAN THIRTY SIX HOURS TILL CHRISTMAS. YAY. And stories! So many stories! *happy sigh*

I didn't mock you! I questioned your value system. I mean, it's a valid lifestyle choice, I guess...

*sighs* Yeah, this I have to agree with. He seemed to have turned from an aging-yet-ruggedly-handsome guy to GAH OMG BACK OFF GEEZER. It's sad, really...

Also, yes. But Josh Hartnett is frighteningly reminiscient of Harrison Ford in a way. I think it might be the squintiness.

The lightsabers do make cool noises! But I am always distracted while they were there, and imagining having one of my own, and how I would accidentally cut off various pieces of my body with them very very easily.

i have big memories of being small and seeing star wars stuff on a tv and being terrified. i watched them later and like them okay, and um, do have a big han solo crush, but yeah... they are possibly not as exciting as people believe they are.
