la la la friday!
28/1/05 08:45Along the lines of two steps forward, three steps back, I want you to tell me:
1) One thing as a writer you think I do well
2) Two things as a writer you think need to work on
3) Your favorite thing I've written, and your least favorite
I can't resist copying
musesfool in all her memes. I changed this one, though, just because it seemed like an awful lot of work the original way. I doubt many people will respond, but I think coming up with one and two things is a lot more likely than two and three. Even though, you know, the first sentence doesn't actually make sense now.

3) My favorite thing you've written? A tossup between "The Outline of a Circle" and "A is for Apple." But I've liked everything you've written, in one way or another, except
4) Your response post parodying

Huh, you know, that's really fascinating, because it never would have occurred to me -- I think, actually, in my head I assume my default setting is actually a sort of over-the-top sweetness, and I have to work to control it. I wonder if there's some sort of hypercorrection thing happening?
As for 4 -- well, I didn't tend that to be personal; it wasn't about kellie's specific rant as much as me finding the whole conversation that came up to be very amusing. I didn't intend it to be nasty, either, but I can see how it could have come across that way. Obviously, everybody finds different things funny.
