So, it's not like I just spent my whole day with
speshope, sitting on her couch eating junk food and watching nine episodes of House in a row.
Except, oh, wait. I totally did. *cough*
Hugh Laurie gets hotter and hotter the more I watch him. This is only disturbing to me at times when he's doing things like going through withdrawal or doing autopsies on tiny little bitty formerly adorable dead things. (Dude, did you see his arms in those shots? Mmm.)
So far I see the House/Wilson less than I was expecting from what I'd heard going in, but that might be partly because I haven't found Wilson all that fascinating as a character yet. House, god yes, and Cuddy and Cameron and Chase and Foreman are all wonderfully fascinating, but Wilson hasn't gotten me yet. I do love his their interactions, though. And MONSTER TRUCKS.
Finally, this show is even better than due South for the "Name the Guest Star" game. Bald chick from Empire Records! Lilly Kane! Friedman for JoA! Hot teenage-Ashton-Kutcher from the Butterfly Effect! Andie McPhee from Dawson's Creek and Noel from Felicity got married! Hee.
Okay. Now I am going to go do my homework. And by that, I mean "go watch the thirteenth episode and then do my homework, because I might as well when I have nothing left."
(Edited to add: Five minutes into "Cursed", and hey! Chick from the Angel pilot! Little boy from Spy Kids!)

7/3/05 15:52 (UTC)We watched that episode at Escapade. I felt bad, because okay yeah, I'd seen it before, but half of the viewers were sniffling about the poor tiny dead baby, and I was thinking, "God, Wilson looks good slouched down in that chair. Dude, look at House's arms in that t-shirt."

7/3/05 22:14 (UTC)I saw four eps at Escapade, and watched #13 last week when it aired, and now I keep going to the post office hungrily hoping that my dvds (eps #1-12, downloaded via bit torrent) will be there courtesy of
The episode that sold me on the slash was "Damned if You Do," the Christmas one. ::happy sigh::
