Lyrics game, anyone? Identify and you get all the points!

I'm using random from my 200 song smart playlist, rather the 1500 song library. I'm not sure if that makes this harder or easier.

I cheated and skipped over the Mates of States one that came up, because I couldn't figure out a good way to show two people singing at the same exact time.

...Looking at my audioscrobbler is CHEATING.

1. And he asked me why I'm always such a bitch
He leaned to kiss me but I pulled away
'Cause I'm not so sure this boy is it

2. You write it down
You strategize
Never go over
Your little lines

"Things You Say" by Sleater-Kinney ([livejournal.com profile] rossetti)

3. She said Christmas is like solstice
And we miss you and it's been a while

"The Christians and the Pagans" by Dar Williams ([livejournal.com profile] lunaris_)

4. And you can't touch me like before
And you can't make me want you more

"Changed the Locks" covered by Kasey Chambers ([livejournal.com profile] makesmewannadie, [livejournal.com profile] minervacat)

5. Well I was drunk the day my mom got out of prison
And I went to pick her up in the rain
But before I could get to the station in my pick-up truck
She got runned over by a damned old train

"You Never Even Called Me By My Name" by David Allen Coe ([livejournal.com profile] minervacat)

6. Wait
They don't love you like I love you

"Maps" by the Yeah Yeah Yeahs ([livejournal.com profile] untappedbeauty)

7. The easiest thing I ever done
Was loving and drinking wine
The hardest thing I ever done
Was paying off a judge's fine

8. Although my lover lives in a place that I can't live
I kind of find I like a life this lonely

"Come On Home" by Franz Ferdinand ([livejournal.com profile] wax_jism)

9. And I would be the one
To hold you down
Kiss you so hard
I'll take your breath away

"Possession" by Sarah McLachlan ([livejournal.com profile] gurrier)

10. I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints
The sinners are much more fun

"Only the Good Die Young" by Billy Joel ([livejournal.com profile] gurrier)

And god *damn* if I can't sing #5, which is something to do with the perfect country song, but I can't remember neither artist nor title! Bah!

5. "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" - David Allan Coe - I love that song just because it is the perfect country western song thanks to that stanza.

on the upside, working now is going to finance grad school in august, so there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

but for now i'll just lie back and think of porn. mmmmmmmm, porn. porn makes everything better.
