brooklinegirl and I just had a conversation where she mocked me for not knowing random factoids about Garrett Maggart.
And then she compared me to a retarded infant.
This was followed by me telling her about my brief Sentinel watching period, when I used to come online every time I finished one ofmollita's tapes and poke liviapenn to answer all my questions.
[pearl_o: I would ask livia questions like "Is Blair really that short, or is everybody else just really tall?" And "Exactly how often does he get kidnapped and taken hostage?" And "Why did Jim just ride a thoroughbred out to the highway?" And "Um. Did blind Jim really just call crazed drugged up Blair down from the police car and clasp him to his manly bosom?"]
Finally, this conversation included me explaining to Tracey all the facts I learned in high school health class about how long after intercourse it takes for pregnancy to actually happen (answer: a while. the sperm has to get all the way up to the fallopian tube to get to the egg, and then the fertilized egg has to drift down to the uterus and actually attach itself, so all in all it takes a couple of days. or so the public education system has led to me to believe). This led directly to this horrible, horrible piece of rampant speculation on our part here:

brooklinegirl: You're Fraser.
pearlo13: ...you know, if girl! Ray actually did get knocked up, god forbid? I could see Fraser explaining that to Ray.
