On the other hand, continuing our night of movies, my rental pick was D.E.B.S., about which I knew nothing except someone on my flist had mentioned it sometime.

Everything I love about dorky teenage girl movies in one cheesy, glorious, absolutely perfect lesbianic package! They're SPIES. In a secret girl spy school! In school girl outfits! With guns! And she falls in love with the best woman supervillain in the world!

It was even worth putting up with my sister's constant sighs. Every few minutes she looked over at me with one of her looks that say, "Why, oh why do you make me watch this crap?"

There's no accounting for taste, I guess.

Dude, coincidence--I just rented and watched D.E.B.S. tonight! Have you seen the short film? They've been showing it every once in a while on IFC. Its great--Tammy Lynn Michaels plays the Max-ish character, and the girl who played Glory on Buffy played Lucy Diamond.
