i am a dork
21/9/05 13:141. Adam Baldwin was in one episode of Invader ZIM. Worst crossover idea ever.
2. Is it possible to watch the first episode of "My Name is Earl" and NOT immediately start writing the logical slashy AU to that scenario in your head?
3. Now I want to watch one of the things where Jason Lee is actually really hot. Hmm.
4. I have this thing where I entertain myself often with making up imaginary movies in my head. The latest one: Setting probably 1920s or so, England or Northeastern U.S. Paul Gross and Molly Parker are brother and sister, orphaned young -- they're rich, eccentric, wild, spoiled, etc. She's highspirited and willful, kind of confident and controlling, he's all artistic and moody and maybe broods a lot. They have this very complicated and intense bond that seems to exclude everybody else (*cough*INCEST*cough*). Enter CKR, who is, I think, from a much more humble background than them -- poor, low class, etc -- except now he's an artist, too, or perhaps a writer of some kind, someone who's supposed to be brilliant -- so he begins as an outsider and then is slowly drawn into their whole fucked up relationship. Only now with three points instead of just two, so it's even more tangled and fucked-up.
It's totally cliched, of course, but it's bringing me much joy inside my head anyway. Understandably, really; would it be possible to cram more Pearl buttons into that? Historical, pretty Canadians, incest, twisty relationships -- you could all identify this as me from a mile away.
5. I keep almost falling out of the chairs at the computer lab. It's kind of embarrassing.

21/9/05 22:23 (UTC)Dunno what it says about me, but I think that sounds like a phenomenal movie. I mean, come on... broody Paul Gross? genius CKR? I don't know Molly Parker, but threesomes are one of my kinks. Especially tangled and fucked up and... what did you say? complicated and intense? Yeah, that'd do it for me. ;)
Now, if only TPTB would listen...
