i'm not done with last year
1/1/06 17:24It's 2006? Really? Huh.
Three weeks will be my two-year mark in due South fandom -- longer than I was really enthusiastic about Smallville, to begin with. A month from now will be my anniversary for four entire years since I got into fandom.
If I were to say that makes me feel old, I am sure a good amount of you would feel duty-bound to come beat me with sticks.
I have nothing to read in my house, which is, I am sure you will agree, a TRAGEDY of IMMENSE PROPORTIONS. I am hoping tomorrow I feel enough like a non-hopelessly-sick person to make it down to the cheap paperback bookstore. In the mean time, I am still half-stuck in The World of Never-Ceasing Naps, going between blessed sleep and thinking half-thought thoughts about Benton Fraser or Dan Jarvis or Izzie Stevens or various other happy-making things.
(The one bad thing about still being in the World of Never-Ceasing Naps is I keep forgetting I'm not still at home, and that I've actually been back at the apartment since Thursday. So I keep waking up and being like "I wonder if my sister will go get me a candy cane mocha if I give her a dollar" and then waking up a little MORE and realizing that that is really, really not going to happen. Dammit.)
