supernatural 1x10, 1x11
1/3/06 17:57I'm on my period and my head hurts and I'm cranky and hate the world and I want junk food and I have none and I'm miserable.
Time for trashy tv.
Things I liked about "Asylum":
+ Dean. Dean! I love Dean a lot.
+ The way Dean is determined to do what their dad wants instead of being lame and whiny like Sam.
+ Climbing over fences = HOT. They should just do that the entire show.
+ Dean's Jack Nicholson references.
+ "Is Dean your boss?"
+ "If we get out of here alive? We are so breaking up."
+ Dean giving Sam the empty gun
Things I didn't like:
+ All the boring parts.
Things I liked about "Scarecrow":
+ Dean! With his hand out for the phone, and his *face*.
+ Hitchhiking girl trusts shady van guy over Sam. Ha.
+ CCR on the soundtrack. Stuck in Lodi again, yo.
+ Awwwww, Dean so fails at doing the "good cop, bad cop" all by himself.
+ The phone call between them was sweet.
+ "You don't have a plan, do you?" "Still working on it."
+ Heh, stealing a car.
+ "Hold me, Sam. That was beautiful."
+ Woo, creepy hitchhiking girl ending.
Things I didn't like:
+ Sam being a whiny ass bitch.
+ Whatever "sacrifice" and "family" parallels they were tyring to do seemed pretty lame.
+ I'd kind of have liked to see more of the Dean All Alone Variety Hour, with only occasional cameos from Sam.

2/3/06 02:54 (UTC)Well, what I have been doing that is cheerful? Is staring at Easy Money and thinking happy thoughts about Ray and Fraser and kidfic. Care to join me? *G*
Ray: Well, why's he your responsibility?
Fraser: Well, because he's -- my mentor, he's a -- a guide. I've known him all my life.
Ray: [looks down at Dief, who is nosing at him in a shameless plea for attention] You want a coffee? Hm hm? -- Uh, well, I've known a lot of people in my life, Fraser, that doesn't mean I gotta look out for them.
They have these big issues! With parents and being responsible for parents figures and being abandoned by parents etc.! And yet Ray takes a minute out to talk to Dief! See, that is a fuzzy thing to think about when you are cranky and hate the world.

2/3/06 03:53 (UTC)And I was all "AWWWWW. That is exactly what Ray looks like in my kidfic universe" -- and then your comment popped up on my gmail notifier.
*giggles*

2/3/06 04:06 (UTC)He looks all weirdly old and young at the same time. And then this one:
RAY HAS ISSUES WITH HIS DADDY. He obviously needs to be somebody else's daddy so he can prove to himself that he's not like his daddy in all the ways he found annoying.

2/3/06 04:43 (UTC)THEY ARE A BUNCH OF WOOBIES IN A ROW AND THEY ARE BOTH IN LOVE AND REALLY NEEDY AND DESPERATELY CRAVE FAMILY.

2/3/06 05:01 (UTC)See the little happy smile? The way I look at it, Fraser's very weird. Half the reason he went for Janet was the KIDS. Because he LIKES them. And they are KIDS. He can't help himself, really.

2/3/06 05:09 (UTC)And PUFFIN FACE.

2/3/06 05:18 (UTC)Okay, you win at picspamming. *pets all the pictures* I kind of really really really want to write kidfic now. I blame my ovaries.

2/3/06 05:30 (UTC)See, Fraser's just looking at them in this fond way, because he thinks they are adorable and he WANTS ONE. And Ray's sort of trying NOT to look at them because he knows that if people catch him looking his renowned coppish masculinity will die a horrible death. Also 'cause he's trying not to be jealous. *dies of woobie*
Hee!

2/3/06 23:21 (UTC)And lookit Dief, too! I like to imagine Dief as Nana-from-Peter-Pan style caretaker for kids, based on A Mountie, a Cop and a Baby. Hee.

3/3/06 00:34 (UTC)If I ever have babies, I may have to blame dS for tempting me with sufficient regularity. How sad is that?
