another alias post!
17/5/06 14:15Here is what season three Alias has taught me so far: So apparently, the trick to getting away with stupid and nonsensical plot points? Is to just ignore its randomness and bluff your way through it with ALL THE SHAMELESSNESS you can muster. Hey, everybody hates Lauren for breaking Vaughn and Sydney, so let's give up on her entirely and make her EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL!!! WOOT!
Seriously, it makes no sense and has no consistency with the first half of the season, but I kind of love it anyway, just because it cracks me the hell up that they're so obvious about it.
(I actually really liked Lauren, for that matter. She was really pretty and had a giant girlcrush on Sydney! It was cute! Oh well.)
I'm not loving s3 as much as seasones one and two -- I miss Will and Francie and SD-6 and grad school and Irina! -- but it is still a lot of fun. And there is more Weiss, which is always good! And every time Sydney and Jack have a scene with hugging or "I love you"s I flail and melt. BRISTOW LOVE YAYS.
