Tonight I sat down and tried to write a story for the first time in ... um, a sadly long time. It is several hours later, and I have 600 words of the BORINGEST CRAP EVER TO EXIST UGH BRAIN WHY.
Man, I know that the blunt force appropach to writer's block (sit down and make yourself write something!) ends up in tragedy for me every single time, but apparently I am an eternal optimist.
Man, honestly, I need to figure out my "in" for this story? I need that piece of dialogue or structure or image or whatever to center me, or else I'm just writing in BORING BORING CIRCLES. Brain, get to work.
