UNF. Heheh. Well, it's personal canon INSIDE MY BRAIN that in the period of time just after he got clean, Gerard was a bit of a slut. Like, once he got past the detox-hermit phase and woke up all the way, suddenly things were sharp and clear and people had all these LEGS and ARMS and BREASTS and JAWS. He'd been on meds, both prescription and illegal, and that had sort of killed off certain things, and now suddenly he's HORNY and emotionally vulnerable and shaky and maybe that's the real reason that he and Bert had a falling out, you know? Like, Gerard wanted to take things beyond lazy sorta-straight-guy makeout sessions, and Bert flipped.

Cue Gerard falling in and out of bed with anyone that will look at him, clinging to his sobriety. The Bad Choices have to go somewhere, right? Cue unfortunate, random sex!
