FARSCAPE I LOVE YOU BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEST.

happy_coconut and I just finished season 4. Ballsiest series finale ever, y/n? We still have the Peacekeeper Wars to do, but we're not watching that until tomorrow night at the earliest. Partly because I want her to be grateful for not having to wait a year or two like people watching in real time, and partly just because it is getting too late tonight for us to do it now, when we have school and work tomorrow.

Seriously, though: it really is my favorite show ever, and I can't tell you how satisfying it's been to watch Kelly slowly getting more and more drawn into it as time goes on. Also I love all John Crichtons and all Aeryn Suns and they are one truest pairing of all time, amen.

Also, Ben Browder has an ass to rival anyone in bandom. I'm not even kidding, that thing should have gotten regular status as a co-star. JOHN CRICHTON, ASS-TRONAUT. The thing about Ben Browder is that he kind of looks like a Neanderthal and yet he is totally smoking hot. I don't even know.

This admission is in no way shameful! But then, I have this sitting on my desk, so my opinion is possibly suspect. (Braca does not normally have a giant glowing cock, but I was too lazy to take it out of the frame.)

I used to have a bunch of Farscape pictures saved, but I don't know where they went. :( I even had a totally teenie picture webpage devoted to Aeryn! It was called Irreversibly Contaminated because I was oh-so-witty! But they are not on this computer. :(

And oh man, Scorpius and Braca. Scorpy is my baby. I. Um. ...I would try to explain that, but I really can't. /o\ And Farscape is really the only show I've ever had where I ended up a het, slash, and femslash OTP. Of course, I seem to sit alone in my love of Jool/Chiana.

I love that show and John and Aeryn are still the biggest of OTPs for me. That? That is how you have four seasons of will-they/won't-they geta nd saty together without making you heartily sick of the pairing. That is how you have romantic tension that's plausible and true, with reasons that are good and in character, that is how you have heartwarming (and man, Aeryn Sun's smile could light up worlds) and heartbreaking all in one.

There were actually parts of season 4 -- I'm thinking of Terra Firma in particular -- where I know if it was any other couple ever, I would be snickering or judging for the way their relationship is being treated. Like when random people go up to Aeryn and telling her how obviously she and John are in love? BUT WITH THEM IT IS RIGHT AND JUST.
