...are you telling me you have a thing for pairings that involve BFFs who love each other more than anything else in the universe, such that the entire world around them recognizes and is affected by their love?

It was aboard the Jellyfish, actually. After Kirk says "Good luck" and Spock stops him by saying "Jim", to tell him to tell Uhura... whatever it is he's going to tell Uhura.

Because I'm a big goof for stuff like this, I was thinking about if it was like, Kirk was hurt really badly on a mission and somewhere in there Spock calls him Jim and although he doesn't really sound that worried, in comparison to everyone else, and just you know, because he's Spock, since he never ever calls Kirk Jim, Kirk's like...THANKS SPOCK I AM GLAD TO KNOW YOU CARE AS I BLEED ALL OVER THE PLACE. IT REALLY MEANS A LOT. But he's not even being sarcastic because he's sort of out of it, and because he's just a big sap. And Spock's just like, Please refrain from exerting yourself by talking.
