schmericaYou guys. I want all the fic in the WORLD about Sarek/Amanda. Reboot or TOS, I don't even care. I've search delicious, but there's almost nothing there (and certainly no porn). There's a couple cute gennish things sprinkled among the kink meme, but not enough to satisfy my craving. I want to know about them meeting and their falling in love and their marriage and their sex life and their first pon farr and when Spock was a little baby and everything.
This is one of those situations where everything I want to read is locked away in 30 year old zines, isn't it? Forty year old fandoms >:(
Also I mentioned this earlier in a locked entry, but I could totally go for some reboot Chapel/Uhura. (Just because Chapel didn't appear onscreen doesn't mean we can't write hot femslash about her, you know. It never stopped boyslashers.)
Other than that I just pretty much everyone to write 5 million stories almost-exactly-the-same-but-slightly-different about Spock Prime in this universe. They don't all have to be about seeing his best friend whom he lost years and years ago alive again, but young and beautiful and with the whole universe in front of him, either. Just a lot of them.
Uh, here are two more episode reactions. I am trying to convince myself I should go to bed soon and thus it would be a bad idea to start Voyage Home this late at night. Also I am at the point in my watching where I am more or less just clicking on episodes randomly now, because I have gone through all the ones people recced me already.
+The Deadly Years
Apparently Kirk is an ex of every other woman in the galaxy.
WOOT, gratuitous shirtless Kirk again.
I really like the old people make-up. Especially Shatner's. Also Bones's accent.
Spock knows the compentency regulations, but he's resisting it so hard. Spock resisting his duty! He even makes sure it's in the thing that he's reluctant. You know why? BECAUSE HE LOVES KIRK. But he does it anyway, and does his very best in carrying it out.
Kirk is such a crotchedy old dude.
Spock during the scene where he and the chick go down to Kirk's office! His carefully controlled face. The quietness and almost-choked nature of his voice. Kirk tells him he's disloyal and betraying and he never wants to look at him again. ;_______________;
OMG IT'S A MOTHERFUCKING SCIENCE MONTAGE. A really short one, yes, but still!
I love the "shake the camera" method of impact here.

And then no closure with the chick, whom we never see again.
+A Private Little War
I liked watching Spock and Kirk running away - it was hilarious -- but then Spock got shot. :((( But green blood! And more Vulcan physiology canon, with his heart being where human livers are. And Kirk has to go back to the bridge while he's still not sure if Spock will survive!
Kirk telling Bones they need to go back down to the planet, because if the Klingons are doing okay, McCoy is the one who would know, and if not Kirk needs someone whose advice he can trust as much as Spock. Number two best friend, you just got a temporary promotion! :D?
THAT ALIEN IS EXCELLENT OMG. I'm pretty sure it's trying to have sex with Kirk, but who can blame it?
The natives on this planet have amazingly awful wigs.
"Men take us because through us they become great leaders." Groooooooss. And then making out and beasts and "my huge, angry man."
Man, McCoy is SO BAD at the whole "not giving/demonstrating advanced technology to people" thing.
More gratuitous naked Kirk chest.
This is really kind of a horrible episode, isn't it? And not just because of the gender and race grossness.
--On the other hand, there's a scene where Spock gets slapped by Nurse Chapel and the doctor a dozen times. HOT.
And then it just ends. Well. That was pretty crappy.
