Holy fucking shit, you guys, I don't usually see the Spock/Bones but "Bread and Circuses" omigod. There was plenty in the beginning, even, but then. That scene in the prison between the two of them reads like slash to the point where I wasn't even sure how they could end it WITHOUT the two of them kissing -- except INSTEAD it ends with the two of them bonding over how Spock's only "genuine, warm, decent feeling" is for Kirk. A feeling which McCoy shares.

YOU GUYS.

Also Uhura gets to have the last word and be all "you idiots, it's a Jesus pun."

Also also I love that the go-to disguise for Spock is always a stupid knit hat. And all 3 of those guys have nice arms; more t-shirts please.

I also finished Spectre of the Gun but I have no real thoughts pn that beyond SEXY MIND MELDING WOOOOO.

Have you seen "The Immunity Syndrome" (aka giant space amoeba) yet?

The "Tell Dr. McCoy he should have wished me luck," and "Shut up Spock, we're rescuing you!" parts are great.

I agree though about "Bread and Circuses." I love Spock and Bones together, and I'm really hoping for more of them in the next Star Trek movie.

Yeah, I did! I do enjoy their dorky banter, especially Kirk is always all "lolol my friends hate each other" about it. But yeah, usually I don't get into the Spock/McCoy, but this episode was an exception.
